Cook the beans with 3 to 4 cups of water for about 2 hours. This time could be less if you soak the beans in water overnight.
Meanwhile chop 1 large carrot, 1 medium white onion, and 1 stalk of celery.
Once the beans have cooked, add the carrots, onions, and celery, and allow it to cook for about 20 minutes. Add more water if needed.
Season with seasoning of your choice, I used teaspoons of oregano, black pepper, dried mixed herbs, and salt for taste.
Do a taste test, if the beans and carrots are tender then you can add the dill and cover the pot, you may remove from heat but leave the pot covered for 5 more minutes for the dill to kinda cook.
